MISSION STATEMENT
All types of network threats are spreading with ever-increasing speed and ingenuity. The industry is forced to react against these exploits by deploying a vast array of security solutions. Increasingly specialised hardware and software applications are the only remedy for new threats.
Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions attempt to keep pace with this fast-growing array of diverse threats. However, a detailed analysis of the supplier market shows that many of the solutions and technologies are targeted exclusively at the large enterprise sector. These solutions require qualified IT security staff for their successful practical implementation.
For all these reasons, underground_8 has created the Next Generation Threat Management (NGTM) solution especially for the small to medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) and the public sector. underground_8 technology grows in line with the increasing requirements, and current implementations such as mobile computing, unified communications and endpoint security are actively addressed.
Our guiding principle is to design “Premium Class IT Security” that gives good value for money and can be used universally. On the basis of carefully selected hardware components and optimised firmware, underground_8 develops optimised security functions for leading NGTM solutions.
underground_8 develops and produces its own products and solutions in Europe, so the company is free of complicated political stipulations. This means that we can develop security appliances without state loopholes or legal pressures.
